Cancer Prevention Awareness
Aside from cardiovascular diseases, Cancer is the second dreadfull disease that hit mankind. Every human has cancer cells but are all inactive and not detectable. If this cells regenerates to millions, DNA will breakup and will form dreaded tumors in the body. Although it can be cured at an early stage, Cancer can still be prevented from occuring to our body.
- Stay away from sugar foods. Cancer cells thrives on sugary sweet foods. It makes them more active and multiply at a fast rate. So avoid cakes, chocolates, ice cream and all other sweet foods to starve these bad cells from spreading inside your body.
- Keep yourself active. Regular exercise will strengthens our body's immune system that fights all kinds of diseases. If our antibody immunity weakens, we become prone to every kind of diseases available today. A simple workout can produce more blood which protects our body from bacteria and viruses. So keep yourself a regular workout to maintain that fitter and healthier body.
- Stay away from fried foods. Foods prepared from cooking oils has carcinogens, a cancer causing agent. Even the best oils in the market like olive oil cannot save you from the danger of having cancer. So make sure you avoid those fast food chains and their happy meals because it will surely make the hospitals happy.
- Eat plant based foods. Vegetables and fruits are the best source of phytochemicals and antioxidants. These foods can make your body cells less susceptible to cell damage. Plus it is the best foods that can make your skin glow and slows ageing. Make sure you eat onions, brocolli, tomatoes, apples, oranges, garlic and other vegetables and fruits. Avoid red meat, pork and chicken skin, these are high in bad cholesterol content and will increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases. - Prevent pollution. Pollution is now one of the main cause of cancers especially respiratory diseases. If you can avoid living in urban areas with too much pollution, do it so for the sake of your health. Stay active in organizing plants and trees within your vicinity. It really helps lessen all kinds of pollution.
- Do not smoke. Smoking is the worst enemy of our immune system. If one smokes, he weakens his body by 5% per year resulting to risk of cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
- Stay happy. Study in Japan shows that a happy person tends to live 20% longer than those people who experience more stress in life. We all know life is so short so make sure our existence in this world is full of happiness and less worries.
