Halitosis or commonly known as bad breath is a known oral disease. Having this problem must first find out what is the cause. Bad breath is often suspected to originate from the mouth but other cases are severely complicated such as stomach problems. Other possible causes are respiratory problems, sinus and tonsil problems. Always visit your dentist 4 times a year to ensure that your teeth are bacteria free. Most bad breath comes from a very unclean mouth, so make sure to have teeth cleaning every time you visit your dentist.
2. Brush your teeth and tongue after a meal. It is advisable to clean your mouth every time you consume any food especially junk foods and sodas. You may also use dental floss and mouth wash to eliminate those mouth bacteria that resides in your tongue and gums.
3. Always drink water. Water can also help flush those bacteria out of your mouth every after meals. Drinking enough water helps avoid having a bad breath.
