Bad Effects Of Steroids

You often hear the word steroid in sports where it is a highly forbidden product. It is said to be a performance enhancing drug that can boost the capability of an athlete to improve dramatically. So what are the negative effects of steroids in the body?

Steroids are said to have a bad side effects to the body which can last longer even lifetime. Cardiovascular diseases are said to be the number one effect of taking steroids. High blood pressure, hardening of arteries, palpitations and high cholesterol levels are some of the bad effects of steroids.

Steroids are also linked to reproductive health problems. The one common problem related to the use of steroids is the loss of libido for men. Steroid are responsible to cease the natural production of testosterone, which can lead to hypogonadism. While females suffers steroidsfrom excessive production testosterone, which can lead to hirsutism and growth of male characteristics such as changes in the voice, reduction of breasts and growth of Adam's apple. Other bad effects of taking steroids is liver damage.

The most obvious way of avoiding these health problems is to limit your steroid use. It is better not to patronage steroids for long period of time. It is much more convenient and safe if you try to improve your physical appearance naturally by exercise and total body workout.

People and athletes who take steroids to take more advantage in any competition are called chumps not champs. Be natural inside and out. Show your natural skills and compete fairly. Steroids are bad for your health and can only give you temporary muscle tones. So always remember, stay fit and natural all the time.
