How To Treat Sun Burn?

Sun Burn is a painful skin condition that is caused by over exposure to the sun. If you are going to the beach especially without proper skin protection, you are highly susceptible to this skin condition.

So how to treat the painful skin burn? Skin irritation goes away naturally through time but of course prevention is still the best way to avoid sun burn and you should learn your lesson if you don't want to experience it again. Below are the simplest ways on how to treat sun burn.

1. Don't wear tight clothes. Tight clothes can irritate the affected burned areas that can be painful. Polyester made clothes can rub harshly against the skin so you have to wear cotton-made shirts that are loose-fitting.

2. Apply cool cloth to the affected area for a few minutes. Much effective if applied with skim milk that can help give relief to skin discomfort.

3. Use anti-inflammatory agents such as creams and other available medicinal drugs to prevent any underlying side effects such as fever and headache.

4. Apply aloe vera gel to the affected area. It helps give some relief and helps renew the skin by speeding up the process of recycling the dead skin caused by sun burn.

5. Drink a lot of water. Sun burn can cause dehydration which is very crucial to your over all health. Rehydrate by drinking lots of water to prevent any side effects of sun burn.

6. Stay out of sun exposure as possible until your skin is totally healed. Added sun exposure may alleviate your skin condition and will add more days before it fully heals.

These are the simplest and natural way on how to deal with sun burn. So next time you take a good summer beach vacation, always bring sun screen skin protection to avoid skin burn during day light exposure.
